Well John Travolta and Olivia are excellent and awesome. I watched it thrice and wish to watch again, never bored of it.

Yeah! I agree. This movie is so funny. Back then gangs weren't as violent as they are today. It was all about the threads back then. Today in order to belong to a gang, you have to go out and kill someone!

You're right, it really is a classic movie. The first time I watched it I was 7 or 8 years old (oh no, that was Grease 2, the first movie I watched a couple of years later, always live a backwards live ;-) ). I know all the songs for both movies, and can tell the text of the characters while watching. Guess I'm an addict.

I love Grease. The first time I saw it was when I was about eight or nine. I'm thirty now. LOL. I would tell my kids about it. they are ten and eight. they wanted to see it so I went out and bought it. They watched and now they love it. They will sit and watch it over and over. Its great when you can share a good old classic with your kids. I hope it continues on down the line.

I totally agree. When one of my friends told me that she had never watched it i forced her to watch it, and she loved it. Everyone should watch it, it's definitely a great classic.

I remember when I first watched Grease, in the late 70's in Germany, with a bunch of fellow exchange students. We had a great time. I will never forget when it was over my friend Diana said, in response to Sandy's change in style, "but I liked her before!" lol

I went to see grease at the pictures 1977 OR 1978. I think that it was 9 of us climbed out of my friends dads car,(you just would'nt get away wit it these days).
Now 30 years later, my daughters really think that this is a great film. So it has stood the test of time.
