What would you do if your mate didn't get you a birthday or graduation gift?

I really don't mind. I value togetherness more than material gifts. :)

Maybe I don't have a specific standard but for me seeing them would be good for me and if I can't have that, I'd probably be sad about it. Would I try to get them something for their birthday or any special occasion, of course. I don't know if I seem wrong for that but I don't usually ask for much on my birthday or anything, just seeing her face to face and company would be good enough for me. Anything else would be a plus.

Some persons are like that want to receive and don't want to give. My boyfriend is mean and I never paid him any mind. These persons who are like this was not brought up to appreciate another person so instead of having high blood pressure or depression I enjoy myself without even remembering that he is around. You spent money but he didn't appreciate what you did to give you a card. You are still young maybe he will change. Just overlook this and see if he will get the hint that it is the thought that count.

well, i would yak my jaw off if i spent 300 bucko's on their bday and not a penny was spent on mine! thats just inconsiderate...
