Do you prefer paper or plastic?

I prefer neither. I have reuseable totes that I use for all kinds of shopping, anything from groceries to stuff from the mall. I especially hate plastic shopping bags as they take eons to disingrate, i can't recycle them and that they just pile up. If i have to have a bag from the store, i would ask for paper just because I can later use it to hold/sort my recycling.

I prefer plastic but the sturdy kind. I use them for throwing out the foam plates from catfood and also for diaper changes. I keep the Trader Joes paper bags for our recycling in the home and for transporting presents and stuff.
