My grandfather passed away Sunday and it has me thinking a lot about life. You really are never promised tomorrow. He was the only father figure I ever knew and an amazing man. Before his death I had never lost a loved one and never knew the pain could be so bad. It still doesnt seem possible that he is gone. His funeral was yesterday it was military style and absolutely beautiful. God rest his soul he was truly an angel and now he is in heaven where he belongs.

I am so sorry to hear that. I know how hard it is to lose someone you really loved and had alot of respect for. I lost my dad when i was 12 years old. He was truly an angel also and he is in a much better place now, but I truly miss him alot. It seems like yesterday that he left this world. I hope my dad is lying in peace also. He is truly missed. I wish you much peace with his passing also.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. I still have both of my grandfathers, but both of my grandmothers have passed. I know how hard it can be to lose someone you care about. May he rest in peace.

He was a father to me. He raised me because my real father was too worthless to do it. The pain is tremendous.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know how heavy your heart must feel. Most of us will or have experienced similar loss. Time will make it better, and you will be able to feel the joy of his prescence in good memories. Take care.

Thank you. My prayers are really with my grandmother. They were married for 52 years. I cannot even imagine how she feels. I have only been married a month short of a year and cannot imagine the loss of my husband.
