Help I have an hour and a half to decide!!!

I've got an 80gig PS3, lack of games really sucks, currently the machine is a blu-ray player..lol. There are some upcoming games that are exciting to me, but I really hope Sony kicks it into gear, they release like 2 games a friggin month it seems like (okay the release more, but very few and mainly lame ones) Metal gear is not my cup of tea, but Resistance 2 will probably rock. \ By the way, the 80 gig still doesnmt seen to hold too much in memory...I have 3-4 different game datas saved and it crashed it because memory was too full..lol.now I have a permanent corrupted data file on the machine and am paranoid about watching what I save and play..guess the games are friggin HUGE yet no extreme jump in visual quality yet, ones like Orange Box and Area 51 are just sad with loading and lagging and I'm not talking online play. Is the PS3 worth buying? In the future it may pay off, but having had mine for around 8 months, I;ve been quite disappointed and bored.

if ur that into gaming, and you'll be utterly miserable without it, go get it. lol, i just sold my ps2 and am trying to give up video games (not doin so good...)

So what happens if you get it. You're happy for a while, then bills come along and you have to sell it in order to pay for less fun things. Then you're back at square one, and you will have lost money on the system itself. Just put back a little each week & soon you'll have enough to get it without breaking the bank. Lay off buying games for other systems for a while and save the money you don't spend. You don't -need- that system, and they aren't going to discontinue the 80gig version or Metal Gear Solid after tonight, so you can always get it when you're in a better place financially.

Go buy it if you really want it. Hell i would. Im trying to save up money now to buy a PS3.
