ok im mad i have requested my medical record from an facility have been going to see and physiologist. and it has been 2 month maybe more and they have supposeably just approved it. they keot giving me excuses saying the hipaa board is reviewing them, i didnt know they do that or do they? if that was the case then they would be reviewing everyone in the world so i think that is a lie. i juat spoke with one of the counslor and she asked why i wanted them i said first for social security when they deny me , and for personal reasons. she kept asking the same question over and over and over and saying she can give me an summary, i want the whole thing what is so hard i cant find or remember what it is called for to get your medical records. i know i have a right to them i live in california and i have requested medical records before, it getting to the point where i have to call the hipaa board and maybe ask them or get an lawyer to have them get them for me. and this lady wants to start seeing me as my counselor , i dont think so.im going over there tomorrow and to get them if they dont give them to me then im going to call the hipaa board and put in a complaint , she said it 50 pages long so what i have had medical record longer because of my pregnancies.
