It is our independence day! We should be proud as Pinoys. Do you think speaking in Filipino the whole day is one good way to celebrate it? The president moved this holiday but it doesn't move the essence of it for happening at June 12. What are your ways to commemorate this unforgettable date in our history?

I don't have an exact way or thing to say that I am celebrating this very important day for us Filipinos. I don't know, I guess I just don't feel the day is something special, since the holiday was moved. But one thing special happened this morning. I came to work, 30 minutes earlier than the official time here. And almost 30 to 40 minutes earlier than my usual time coming to office.

I really do not have any specific task or any thing I did in relation with the holiday but I do remember it and I even have put that as a reminder in my cellphone and it alarmed just to remind me of this event. I am proud that we have reached this time still saying that we are independent from any colonial rule and is governing ourselves. It is true that we are not a perfect society but we are trying to be and that for me is important.

i just got home from work..good thing,, all flights that were assigned to me were not delayed.well,to be honest, today is just like any ordinary day.how can we totally celebrate and feel the essence of it if right now,we're not totally free..Freedom from suppression, freedom of speech - these are some of the things that the government should consider....
