is cricket played as a team game

any one jerk who thinks his ego has been hurt or been paid handsomely by the bookies can ruin a game played sincerely by other 10 people, but take other games like football, hockey etc. where teh coach can atleast replace 3 players while the game is on

I don't agree with you at all. Cricket is group game. All the eleven players need to perform n order to win. One person cannot change the course of the game. It takes at least five or six players to do thing like that. Buddy I thin you are getting cynical. Did you see the movie Jannat? I think you discussing on that base I guess.

Yes but in cricket you can easily make out if the person is booked. In cricket if you donot perform you are almost out of the team so i think every body will play with the team spirit. As more money is into the cricket the winning team would get lot of money and obvioulsy the players play to win and make more money.

I think you are accusing one person wrongfully. When a side lost to a bookie it is the eleven man who decide that they are going for the money. Yes there are cricketer who has big ego but take notice that whenever times this happen he is the only one that fails. Every other players participate for the winning check. So stop accusing and let us fight for the bookies to stop mashing up the game of cricket. Cricket lovely cricket.
