Is myLot your thing, or do you share it with someone else?

I tell my wife how much I earn on myLot and who I've met and from what country, I even tell her about my conversations. I don't have anything to hide and she even suggested a topic for me. Do you have that luxury, to talk about your fun time on myLot or is this place sacred to you.

Mylot is now becoming a common discussion topic for my whole family. I have 2 brothers and 3 sisters and since we all work on computers, everybody has easy access to the internet and is now a mylotter. So maybe, I can say that "A family that mylots together, stays together." harharhar

Hi there, gitfiddleplayer! Yes, I have a granddaughter with whom I've shared my addiction to myLot. She might not be quite as enthusiastic as I am about it but we do discuss many of the things that are going on here. I have tried to recruit a few others to join myLot but everyone seems to think it's too much work. I don't mind the work because the benefits I've gained through making friends balances everything out nicely.

Very true, if people see it as a money making site they will be disapointed. The friendships are more important.

Sometimes when hubby is home and looking at what I'm typing, I'll clue him in on who I'm responding to at the time and where they are from, but that's about it. He's not really interested in the computer like I am.

My little boy , who is now 4 years old likes to play in the computer so much. That's why I have to wait for him to finish before I can use the computer and it's maybe 9pm or 12pm already. I sleep late because i enjoy some of the discussion here and that's why my husband is so curious why that's why I let him read some. He can't understand all because his english is so limited (he's a korean).

This site would probably help him with the slang English language but it would be a great start to learning it.

I do. Yesterday I told a Liberian refugee friend of mine who lives in Senegal about it. Told her she may get help there by communicating with other people. She has had a rough time. If she joins I will let you know. PS: I live in Kenya

Very cool, I've found myLot to be a source of entertainment and also information. There are days where I'm just wandering around and there are nights when I'm always thinking about what I read. Hopefully myLot can help your friend.

Hey! Great question. I often share things I have read with my hubby and he suggests topics for me to talk about as well. Hubby and I are quite open with each other about where we visit and who and what we talk about online. I think it is important because I do not work outside the home, and the little bit of spending money I bring in is exciting for me and I love that I have some interesting things to talk about offline with him too in day to day life

Cool, I think that's neat that you can talk with him about myLot. He sounds like a great hubby to give you an inlet and an outlet.

Hi gitfiddle, just like you I share almost everything here with my husband and son and brother as well, especially those things which are interesting and attractive. They also know very well who are those friends I always chatting with by just looking at their avatars. But it is rather disappointed that they don’t have any interest to sign as my referrals.

No, I always share this to my husband. I will talk about interesting topics being posted and who are the people I have met here in the discussions. There are times that before I will drop my response, I will solicit his idea about it and I will be updating him about my income...It's really fun!

I'm a stay at home dad so when I get a few nickles in my earnings I'll tell my wife, she champions me, I think she knows that I like the site because it keeps me writing and discovering.

I share with a friend who introduced me to the site and we chat about the various discussions. Sometimes talk to my guy as well. I like the concept of starting a discussion and seeing the replies.

I share well with others...lol. I'll come across a topic every so often and it will turn into a discussion in my house. My daughter will come in from time to time and read what I'm doing. I'm the only one on the site, but I have nothing to hide and if something is interesting I will share. I start discussions on here from what we discuss in my house so it goes both ways...lol.

Cool, I think some people hide behind an avatar and that's okay, I'm not looking to shed light on anyone who wants to be annyonomous (sp) and I think its fun that your family is intriqued by what you read and write about.

Oh I discuss it with my friends and family all the time and ask for suggestions for discussions but they don't seem to get what it is all about really and prefer their facebook accounts but I enjoy it here and don't use facebook. Ellie :D

I think I'm the only kid on my block that doesn't have a myspace or facebook or whatever is popular at the moment page. I'd rather find out about people by talking with them, not just looking at their profile.

I tell my partner about my earnings and the computer is normally switched on and logged in so he's welcome to look at my dsicussions if he wishes. I don't think he's interested though. He sees myLot as a money maker which doesn't pay out particularly well rather than something which I do for relaxation and a bit of fun.

Yea, this isn't a second income, that's for sure. I think its a form of relaxation for me too, I never thought about that until you said it, thanks.

Hahaha! MyLot would be the only thing ever to grab his attention since the engineering bug bit him when he was young. He's an engineer... typical, hard to persuade, hard to sway, staunch, workaholic. I doubt he'd ever "let his hair down" long enough to enjoy myLot. Sad. Well, his loss, right?
