My husband always uses the Bible to make him seemright about what he thinks, when to me he is wrong.
For instance on TV tonight there was a show about a 23 year old man who married and had a child with a 14 year old girl.
I told him I thought the man should be prosecuted. The girl involved seemed happy in her marriage, but I know from studies that a human brain does not stop developing until the age of 17. So to me this 23 year old was taking advantage of her.
My husband says that he thinks it is ok, because in the Bible it sates you know sin at the age of 7.
WHAT?
I do not know what to think of my husband now.
I think i am right, and he is sick for thinking the way he does.
What do you think?

It seems your husband is "Mr. Righteous"? There were people who thinks they are wise enough when they read the bible and used it to debate, and prove that they are right and others are wrong. In the case you mentioned, though a 7yo can differentiate the good and the bad, it doesn't mean that he can't commit mistakes and doesn't need guidance. Learning is a continuous process, though one may master each and every words written in the bible it would be best if we use it in our daily lives and not for debate.
