is it right to have or provide a celll phone to our helper in our house?

i let my helper use our cellphone one day, it is a good way for me to get in touch with my 1 year old baby under her care, but i was a bit disappointed when one day she used it with asking my permission..but i was thinking if its about her family, its ok then. im just afraid if she will use it for linking other matters which out of my control.how did u handle this case?

If she is working for you, you have to set rules in writing. If she goes outside of your rules, then she will be responsible for pay the charges that she creates. If she is working for you than truthfully, I would think that any charges beyond what for the care of your daugheer should be her responsibility. If you want to be nice and let it include her family, then you are being very genourus. just remember...she may have a large family.
