People, people, people... do not judge Spider-Man based on the films. The last film we fans of the comics and animated series do not even count because it was so bad. There is a deeper meaning to the suits than what the films were portraying. After the symbiote suit, which is the first black suit Spidey ever wore, he reverted back to the traditional suit, and thankfully so because the black suit was ruining his life. The traditional red and blue Spidey suit is what he wears when all seems well, but he has had several other suits as well. He wears the black suit, now, when he is angry or depressed (then again, I would wear it too if my Aunt May had been shot by the Kingpin prior to "One More Day"). He also had two amoured suits, one that was silver metal and one that was made by Tony Stark and looked like the Spider-Man version of the Iron Man suit, it was terrible. He wore these suits when he was in war. I will forever and always love the traditional suit.
