Have you ever received a gift from someone that you're not really close to but loved the gift so much?
I remember getting a blueberry cheesecake from my aunt's friend and I really loved it. Remembering it makes me crave for some up to now.

He He ,you shoud accpet it ,you are not eastern people,you do not have to be so cautious,but if I were you ,I should seriously consider it because here in China.

Yeah, I accepted it. She's my aunt's friend after all. Why should you be cautious if you're in China? Sorry, I just want to know coz I've never been there but might visit in the future.

Chinese people usually refuse other people's gifts repeatedly only a matter of courtesy.Even if you really want that gift you have to pretend to refuse it.Otherwise you could be considered greedy.

Now you are making me crave blueberry cheesecake too! But back to your question ...
Sometimes little gifts from people I don't know particularly well mean allot to me because they are more of a surprise and it means that someone has been thinking of me. I tok mart in a Secret Santa wishlist type exercise through BookCrossing a few years ago and was absolutely stunned at the generosity some people showed me. These were people that had never ever met me before. They were just little gifts like seeds and stationary items for the kids, but so well thought out.

Last year I met a Chinese girl on here doing myLot that I helped a lot with her English etc. She became a good friend. She sent me a picture frame shaped like a bicycle with the wheels being the are ofr photos. I have my 2 grandsons photos in it sitting on my bedroom dresser. That is a gift i will cherish for a long time as it came from a friend from online that I will never meet.
