I've had an Emachine for about a year. There very affordable computers but somewhat slower compared to my dell. I guess thats what I get for paying less but still the prices are great.

I brought one about 8 years ago and it crashed on me less than a year after I brought it. Their must better now, but I won't buy another. I'm working on a desktop W3611 right now that was given to my nephew and it works great. I'm partial to the Toshiba laptops brands. FYI, Emachine kinda reminds me of the Sonys.

I have had my emachines computer for about 6/7 years and I have not had any problems with it so far. I have only taken it for a health check once and not had any problems since. Its been money well spent considering how much I use it,how many jobs its got me and how much convenience I have with broadband at home.

Emachines are pretty good for the price. I picked up one for $300 and have been pretty happy with it and use it many times a day. My mother also got one but my brother in law rebuilt some of it for her. Funny how the person who uses it once a week with crawling internet get her machine super charged where I didn't! Weird, eh?

Never owned one, due to issues my friends had, however they do last a while..i buy really cheep Dell or HP. etc and rebuild for about 100.oo max Pent3s. The last one cost me 12.00 dollars at a thrift store.. HardDrive 160 gb Walmart 80bucks/ But you don't get all the perks of latest software.. just basic use for gamming or internet... All computers bought new AUTOMATICALLY need an upgrade mostly in RAM...that's where they get you..if its sluggish at all...being new...call tech support, while it is new...for best way to speed it up.. then invest in it for the long haul. cb
