Do you write poems? When you do, do you write it in a special notebook? Or do you write on anything at all? I have a special poetry journal but I haven't been updating it lately. How about you?

Hi there Che! That's really sweet. We actually have a couple of those in our bedroom in our old house in Quezon City. Thank you very much for your response.

Yes. but it depends upon my moods. sometimes, I can create a good poem whenever I feel so sad or heart broken. I just wrote it in a scratch paper, and when I read and find it so good, I will transfer it into a nice paper and keep it.

Hi there Zero Charly! I also noticed that I myself usually write good poems when I'm sad or angry compared to the ones that I make when I'm happy. Thank you very much for your response.

Hi there Ayessa! Yeah, I guess when you feel like writing something, anywhere can do as long as you transfer it to a journal if you wanna keep it. Thank you very much for your response.

no, i can't write poems, but my b/f and my sissy do. my b/f puts all of his poetry and songs on his laptop computer instead of writing it o n a sheet of paper. my sissy, on the other hand puts it donw on a notebook. she says she likes it better that way. my b/f says he likes to put it on the computer, b/c that way he says he knows where it's at, and plus people can't be snooping into his computer, or poetry. he's always enjoyed writing poetry. and has wrote some good ones here recently.

Hi there Ashly! I think your boyfriend is right. That's a good way of keeping your written works organized too. You just have to have a back-up copy in case the computer breaks down or crashes. Thank you very much for your response.

Hi yes i do write poems. I write them when I feel like I got inspired by someone or something and I don't write in a special book are something. When I feel a poem coming I just take the nearest pen and paper and just sit/ lay down and start writing. How about you? How do you get inspired?

I love to write poems and I will write them anytime, anywhere, on anything. I have actually written them on the back of church bulletins (but the poem was related to the sermon). I have several journals for the purpose as well, but I don't always have them with me. I haven't been writing as much as I used to, but that's partly because I actually go to bed now. I used to do most of my writing at 2 a.m.

My few attempts at writing poetry were quite laughable. I think poetry is a very personal thing and I can understand why people sometimes like to keep their work private. I don't write any any more, as I'm just embarrassed by it.

Hi there Green Moo! Yeah, it can be really private too. But I'm sure it's not as bad as you think. Thank you very much for your response.

I try to write them occasionally. I would like to write them more often, but then a creative block drops like a piano out of a window and then it's just much easier to make a cup of tea. I certainly think having a notebook is a good thing to do. Plus I quite like the idea of stream of consciousness poetry, just letting words come out. I'm terrible at writing poems that rhyme, or using poetic meter. Perhaps I should try having a general book for creative thoughts whether it be words or pictures etc? Good luck with your poems!

Hi there David Vincent! I always like freestyle writing. No rules, no rhymes, no meters at all. Just let emotions and thoughts flow freely. Maybe you can try to do that too. Thank you very much for your response.

I write some poetry and yes i just started using a special notebook. Like i just started today. I think its easier that way because you have them all in one place so they are much easier to locate and you form habbits. You start to know whenever you open that notebook that you should open your mind for the poetry.

Hi there Dark Angel! You're right. It was hard for me to keep the ones that I wrote when I was younger because I just write them in any paper that's nearest to me when my creativity kicks in. Thank you very much for your response.
