i have Earthlink Total Access software and with it is an acclerator, supposedly to make pages load faster.
i dont think it does..i think its actually making things slower to load!
it SAYS that over the past 3 days ive had a peak of 3.3x faster loading...but i definatly noticed tonight when i tried loading mylot (and a few others) WITHOUT the accelerator, that its faster without it! and my connection (dialup) speed is exactly the same that its been for the past 3 days.
does anybody use and accelerator and do you REALLY think its doing what its supposed to do..or just a load of crap?

It is very interesting to note that software is able to do that. Able to elaborate how this software works. Where did the speed came from. Is space be sacrifice for the speed? I did not know that such thing does exist.
Cheers.

Hi there Cinder in my Soul!
I haven't tried accelerators because I am not convinced that it really works and with your feedback, I might not try using one, ever.
