To have more Pokemons or not??

The new pokemon version now has more pokemons. And to add those to the old ones, there would be a lot of pokemons now. I think it is better to have more pokemons. Why? Because it means that Pokemon is dynamic, that there is always something new and it doesnt stick to what is already present. The pokemon names would be forgotten because there are so many of them but atleast there will be more pokemons to choose from and we'll gonna catch them all.

bleh i'm a fan of the original line of Pokemon games (namely Yellow Version, heh, and yeah I realize that was the third one but I loved it xD ) and I really don't think they should be adding all of these new pokemon... it's just contradictory to so many things in the original... seriously... just a corruption of a previously fun franchise... on the other hand these aren't aimed at my generation, but the new generation of gamers.. in that sense it seems right to develop new things to keep the concept of Pokemon alive and fun, if only for the sake of new kids to be able to get into gaming and enjoy it.. i dunno xD good discussion though!

Well, it's true, but if the makers ceased to stop creating new pokemon, do you think the fans will still be loyal to Pokemon? I know what you are trying to point out, but for the sake of it, the creators try to make new pokemon so that the interest of pokemon will be reborn again the hearts of the fans.

I play pokemon t0o and i can't describe the feeling when i see a new pokemon in the wild that i never saw before, i like having a fifth generati0n t0o m0re pokemon means m0re j0urneys t0 c0me, m0re pokem0n experience, m0re friends m0re excitements m0re games weee

I don't actually like the fact that there is more and more pokemon. OK after the third generation, I think that's where it should stop. For those of you who do not know, the third generation is Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire ones. I just think that adding pokemon means that you lose track and don't know names and stuff like that.

I think that the newest Pokemon games have some of the highest amount of characters that are playable in a game.
I hope they continue to invent more Pokemon too, as it adds more varity to the game and adds to the gameplay.

First and foremost, the plural of pokemon is still pokemon. Secondly, I haven't even forgotten a single name of a pokemon. And yeah, I wish that there will be a fifth generation of pokemon. It would be so fun to memorize...

i think that more pokemon is not kewl. the creators are losing ideas... i mean doesnt luxray look like the same idea as magnetrike or watever and jolteon...i mean it would be kool to have more but only if they can come up with some fresh new and completley unrelated ideas.

They add the new pokemon just to make money :( Yes, a sad realization is approching. I love the pokemon games and they are fun but its just an exploit to get you to buy the newest ones.
