My first star rating on mylot was a 3 hehe 
It went up reasonably quickly though, which was quite nice I thought

Is that the "+" and "-" buttons that I see in every discussion? "+" means rate this discussion positive and "-" says rate this discussion negative. I don't know the use of those two buttons.

I got an 8 on my star when I reached the 100th post. It fluctuates, but eventually raised to 9, and at the moment I have 10. I hope this stays. :)

hi moneymint, as far as I remember, I got 7 star rating too when I finally got the star at the 100 number. around 74 from 100, as far as I remember.
just keep contributing to other people's posts. when they have found your posts giving good contribution to them, they would rate you positively. good luck and happy mylotting. :)

I remember when I reached my 100th post, it was a yellow star with an 8 on it. Congratulations for reaching your 100th post. Your next target will be 200 for you to be able to use the myLot code. More power. Happy posting.

hello moneymint, I clearly remeber my first star rating since I got it only last Monday. It was an 8 (yellow star) which eventually became a red star after 1 day.
Congratulations for reaching your 100th post. I'm sure you were very excited about it as I was before. From a star rating of 7, to 8, and now you star rating is 9. Keep up the good work. I hope you enjoy every discussions you join, and keep on posting towards your 200th post.

when i reached my 100th post, my first star rating was 8 with a yellow star. Now just a few minutes ago i got my red star. i am so happy to get a higher ranked star.
