Good day. When you invite friends to your wedding, Do you expect them to give you a gift or something? I mean if you do does it matter if it's simple or expensive. Just for input guys. thanks

The tradition is to provide the bvride and groom a present to help start their new life together in their new home. I see no reason to break with tradition.

I agree with erratic, though it doesnt have to be simple or expensive, its what you think they need - really. And how much money you're willing to spend etc.
