I answer them if they actually make it into a discussions and add their won words in there as well. I have seen alot of these posted lately also. I have a friend who likes to post them all of the time and so far they have not been deleted. It does get annoying sometimes. I cannot relate to some of them either. If I start to lose points and earnings from responding to them. I will stop responding to those types also.

I used to respond to this also. But then I started seeing others start these also and well I was tired of seeing duplicates of almost the same thing with a few words different so I just said I wont respond to any more of these.

hi subha!
i also don't respond to those kinds of discussion. i mean, i rarely respond to a discussion about a news article they copied somewhere in the internet. i just think that it lacks effort so it does not deserve an effort. and isn't it against the guidelines to copy and paste news articles here? i'm not sure about that but i'm just being careful. i'm beginning to be more practical nowadays because i'm giving a lot effort in earning here so i simply don't want my earnings to decrease just because i responded to an effortless discussion. i want to think that my effort should only be deserved by an equal effort. that's how i think nowadays.

I havn't notice that people are doing like that even i will not respond to that copy paste discussion.
Its bad to do that.
I have not reached 500 points so i am not even aware of this.Mylot is not place of sharing information and discussion if people start copying with even links then it doesn't make sense to response.
Good luck!!

If someone haven't even write in the topic what he/she thinks about all of this, or what kind of answers he/she expects then I don't see a reason to answer.

Actually i not care whether the discussion created by copy-paste or by own and on otherside i agree that such practice should not be done and not tobe promoted.but whtever the source of information, one should receive whether from news sites and after that he or she should decide wht should do with that.
sometime the information is informative so i not totally discard their act of copypaste.

I too have seen many discussions like that. But I do not respond to these discussions. I just read the article if it is interesting and give my comment only if the article has something that can be shared with others. Otherwise I skip the discussion.
I like to respond to discusisons that are really interesting..(like yours)..But in case of news articles, they can give some information. BUt only few are interesting. That too when they are just copied and pasted, they do not seem to be interesting..And also too big to summarize. So I try to avoid responding to discussions that just copy pastes the news articles.

If the news item is an interesting one, and if the questioner has put in his/her own views also in the question, then I usually go for answering those questions. It shows that the questioner has pondered upon the item and is interested in sharing his/her views with us as well as getting to know our reactions. But if the discussion only contains the item, it only shows that the questioner has thrown in the topic just to attract eyelids towards him/her. I ignore them totally. Do put in your response. Cheers.
