Last sunday me and my colleagues from Phillipine Airlines finally have the guts not to accept any extended flights from our plotter.Because we think that's our high time for us to bond. We rarely have time for gimmicks since our duty time is from 12pm to 730.However we usually end up going home at 1am.We're five in the group, and what I thought was a bonding moment turns up to be a triple date. Three of my friends still manage to invite their boyfriends. It's not that Im jealous or anything, but the reason why we go out is for us to enjoy each others company.

Given that your job rarely gives you guys the opportunity to be out would just explain why they opted to let their boyfriends tag along.
I understand how you feel. I doubt it's because you're jealous. It's more of 'this is the only time we got, so why let your man tag along?' it's truly uncomfortable when friends bring their boyfriends along when it was supposed to be bonding time for girls only.
My question would be, do you have a boyfriend?
If so, you'd fully understand that being in a relationship needs time too. And if your job is hectic then even a small opportunity to be together would not be wasted. Friends or no friends. Hahaha. That's just how things are when you have a boyfriend and you can't spend more time with him.

from the start,we had an agreement that it's supposed to be our night.well, i can't blame them also since our work schedule is so tight.actually, we're two in the group who doesn't have a boyfriend and even if we never discuss what happened i am sure that she also felt it too.

Do they always bring their boyfriends along when you girls go out? or is this the first time they did this? because if it has always been like that maybe they think you guys are comfortable with their boyfriends around and since both never said anything about this (wherein you're uncomfortable because you were expecting it would only be girls) then you can't do anything about it but tell them next time to have a 'girl time only' but I assure you you'd look jealous when you tell them that. hehe

Maybe next time you can tell them that it would be a "girls night out". It's normal for them to bring their boyfriends. As you have said, you don't have much time to do gimmicks because of your hectic work schedule. That would mean that they don't spend much time with their boyfriends as well. My friends and I don't spend much time together as often as before. We now work in different companies and our schedules just don't meet. But if we happen to have time to go out, we don't bring along boyfriends if we just want to bond just us girls. That way, we can enjoy each others company and nobody gets left out or something. :)
