Do you use cloth, or disposable diapers?

I actually use both. I prefer cloth diapers during the day and around home, and disposable diapers at night and when away from home? Reason being, number one, is that it saves money; and number two, my son is very wet diaper sensative and don't want him to lose that by wearing disposables. He can feel wet more effectively and fuss to be changed much quicker. I believe that wearing cloth will make it easier to potty train him later on. However I use paper at night or away from home for convinience. I just don't want to deal with cleaning at night or trying to carry around soiled diapers at the store or when visiting freinds and family. Also his clothes look better on him while wearing paper (cloth diapers tend to be bulky). So how about you? What do you use and why?

I'm an advocate for cloth. My youngest is in cloth training pants now and we used cloth diapers for him I loved not having to buy disposables, loved the cute patterns, tie dying our prefolds, etc... It made a mundane chore fun. It is better for a baby's skin (no exposure to toxic chemicals), better for the environment (nothing to throw away), better for the budget (buy it once...you re-use them for several children) and you can sell them when you're done with them as long as you've taken good care of them. We use cloth for lots of stuff...family cloth (instead of toilet paper - DH still uses tp), I use cloth pads for moon time, cloth in the kitchen - we save paper towels for only the messiest of spills- stuff I can't deal with cleaning up twice! LOL...
