Skipping school

Have you ever had a disasterous hooky experience?
The last time I ever skipped school, I thought I would take a short cut home through Scot's Wood, and I got lost and fell in a swollen creek and it was only 50 degrees F out. I kept thinking I would die out in the woods, but fortunatly I had the presence of mind to keep moving and eventually found my way out. I never cut class again.

I once cut class and got into a car accident. It was the other driver's fault but I did not have my license with me so I had to call my Dad to go by the house to pick up the license and meet me at the accident. My car was not drivable so he had to drive me home before he went back to work. Needless to say, I lost driving privileges for a while after that. I cut class after that but I was just a lot more aware of things and cautious.

A friend and I skipped school one very warm spring day. This was our freshman year in high school. We went across the street to her apartment and went swimming. We of course got caught, and punished. But it was fun at the time.

I'm lame, I never cut school, lol. I liked it too much. I had fun. I didn't like the tests and exams, but seing my friends was more fun than being elsewhere;)
