Money attracts Money!!!!!!!!

There is a Chinese saying that roughly translates as from Paddy Field to Tycon and Back in three generations. It takes one generation of hard working people to build the fortune, then another generation to squander the money to send them back to the paddy fields. I think the point of that saying is to illustrate how quickly money and family fortunes can come and go. Yes, I agree it is easier to make money when you have money to start with. The guys who start with nothing, really have to struggle because in this brutal world, people with money have this way of not wanting to deal with the people without the money. People without money also struggle between the need to survive and the need to make money and suffer from a psychological disadvantage in negotiation situations when the other party can wait until they get desparate. - When you have money in the bank, its easier to get to the right people and you can afford to play the "waiting" game. However, sometimes people with money in the bank tend to get complacent in their business dealings and so they become slower in their actions. They become more proud - why grab a low paying deal when you can afford not to. Complacency is very dangerous when you are in a comfortable place. So, while I agree to a large extent that it requires money to make money, I think allot of it depends on the person. Does he or she have the emotional discipline to keep plugging at making money. A good deal of us (I think I'm included here) work very hard and pounce on opportunities to get us out of being poor. But once we are no longer broke, we realx and let things get out of control. Then we only start working again when we are broke again.
