New ways to promote my blog

I don't use any traffic sites, except for YouCubez, which is a fun way to promote it, but I have a good search engine rank because I have many backlinks to my blog. I add a link to my blog on all my profile pages, forum signatures, free article directories and any good site or blog where I am allowed to place a link. The more links back to your blog the higher it will rank at the search engines. Also I keep my blog updated by adding new content at least once a week, more often if possible, as this helps too. I do like the long post about myLot on your blog. I hope it will help to bring in some active new members.

You can try making a movie and upload it to youtube or metacafe, there is a lot of people there say videos , it is nice way but you should have a video or movie makers software, you can also make slide show as video and upload it.
