What happens when one dies? Are we just matter? Would we be totally destructed? What is it that I believe I am? The I. Aren't you people afraid of this? I wonder if even the ego that I have will not exist after I die. Can't really comprehend.

Some religions suggest that when you die, your soul ascends into the Heaven or you go to hell according to your sins on Judgment Day(not WWE Judgment day!!!!) ,whilst others believe you will come back to earth again (meaning reincarnation).Science claims that when you die, that is the end as the matter stops to live and the organism no longer exists.I am not afraid of dying because I am not the first person to die,so why should I be afraid of something that I know is coming to me.It is better off preparing for it rather than living in denial.

No point fearing. Fearing is not going to help you find the answer. Fear and anxiety will only prevent you from living life to its fullest. In fact, this question can only be answered when it really happens. I personally believe that we will still exist. We all have souls. Even if the body is not functioning, our soul will still be.
