Do you do the same dumb thing over and over again?

I did it to myself again. My stomach cannot tolerate coffee...or greasy fast food burgers...so I generally stay away from them and I usually feel okay. But, every couple of weeks, on my way to work, I decide that I can drink a Burger King BK Mocha Joe without paying for it all day. I KNOW what it's going to do to me but I convince myself that, this time, it'll be different.
Guess what, it wasn't. So, while I'm kicking myself in the butt...AGAIN...does anyone else jump head first into Denial Land and do something they know is dumb?

Yup, it happens to all of us. We are just humans. We make mistakes and loose our control sometimes.

Coffee and greasy burgers? YIKES! That's my staple food grouop. HAHAHA! I drink maybe 5 pots of coffee a day and grill a few times a week during the summer. I can't say I have done this but my memory is not what it used to be. Last year I cut up some bread to dry in a low heated oven for home made bread pudding. The oven was set at 200 degrees only. Well next thing I knew my house was filled with smoke. I forgot about them a few hours later. Luckily no damage other than a pierced ear from the smok alrams going off. I tend to forget things in the oven. Now I need and use a timer all the time.

It's funny, I have no problem with hamburgers we cook ourselves on the grill. I can also eat hot wings and spicey food with no problem. Go figure, huh?
