After reading books 1-12 and comparing it to things I read in the Bible, especially Revelations and watching the news every day I think, that the books are actually fortelling what the future may hold. Anyone else have any thought on the subject?

Watching the news is scary now days. I agree that it compares with the things written in Revelations and also in Daniel. Daniel wrote about a Peace treaty with Israel before the last days. Does anyone remember hearing on the news about the Annapolis meeting late last year with Pres. Bush and leaders from all over and from Israel. They were discussing a peace treaty. Bush says he wants to make sure it is signed by the time his term is over.
All of the earthquakes,floods,storms,hurricanes...natural disasters are becoming more of a daily thing. It is very scary to think about in one way,but on the other hand, it is glorious to think that Jesus may be here soon...can you imagine?!

Actually they are. The hebrew bible has encoded in it events that are happening right now or have happened in the past (see Rabin's assassination, Hitler, etc).

I agree, many of the events taking place in the world compare to what is written in Revelations.
