I have never gotten along with my EX sister in law EVER its been about 2 years that me and my ex husband have split up and we still have never gotten along. I have never asked her to watch my kids and I didnt think she would ever ask me to watch hers even before when me and her brother were still together we never "traded" I dont like her and she doesn't like me we both know this and have lived with it for 5 years. but then the other day out of nowhere my ex mother in law called me and I missed her calls (like 10 of them) so I thought something was wrong and I quickly called back but all she wanted was to see if me and my boyfriend could meet my ex sister in law like 20 minutes away away from my house to pick up her kid and watch him for 9 hours the very next day. and when I told her no it seemed like she was trying to make me feel bad. (that's how she does things though she will make you feel bad for telling her no about anything) but I just cant believe she would ask me to do her a favor like that when in the past she has done nothing but lie about me and all sorts of stuff that she even admits to. what would you think if that happened to you? has it ever happened to you? My boyfriend told me that one of these days she was going to want me to watch her kid but I said noooo theres no way we hate each other. but then she does ask.......I never thought I would see the day.

That is crazy!!! If two people do not get along, they should not be watching eachother's kids. I would not have done that for someone. I would not have put out my entire day to look after the kid of someone I didn't like.

Right thats how I think to but This girl will ask anyone for help cause she thinks people will fall to her feet for anything...you know anyone like that?

I would simply tell her that I was unable to do it and remind her of the problems the sister caused me. Not to mention not talking to her for so long and it would be simply uncomfortable.

Because the two of you do not get along(and the reasons for this are not important here),I would think that IF it was a HUGE emergency,then she would have been upfront and told you WHY she needed you for this.However this does not seem to be the case here and after so long and to come out of nowhere and make this request of you does not make any sense at all.Maybe her meds had not kicked in yet??

When people like that start to run out of people to use, and it always happends, they go onto people they know and not necessarily like. Usually favors for someone else to make themselves look better.
I wouldn't be surprised if she had some sort of falling out and declined herself to watch them but to make herself look good she mentioned you.
Just a thought.
