I have to admit that I do not drink that much water, I just do not like the taste,
but I do drink water at a restaurant when they serve it, I don't know why but it taste better there.
Do you drink lots of water?
Do you drink it at restaurants when it is served or just leave it there and choose something else to drink?

Maybe it is because they seerve ice water and at home you don't use ice or you have those big ice cubes I like the smaller ice cubes and when I have them I drink alot more water for some reason. I recently bought a PÜr water filtration pitcher and I have been drinking alot more water now since it takes the nasty clorine an other taste ou tof the water it taste so good now. when I didn't have it I never really drunk water unless it had something mixed into it like tea, coffee, sugarfree drink mixes and Kool-aid.

If it hadn't been for me getting a $25 Walmart gift card from one of my sites I do then I wouldn't have a water filtration pitcher. But I thought it well worth the money.

I think it is the tap water that I just do not like, and that is all that I have

I like the taste of the water at my house, and usually at the restaurants too, but I think for me it is the ice when I am out to eat. I get very thirsty for water sometimes. I almost never drink pop or sweetened tea, and I just find water to be the most refreshing. It is also more economical at the restaurant to drink the water.

I always try to drink 8 glasses a day winterose, I also don't like it but I will just force myself and when I am mylotting, it's the best time for me to do it. I also consider water in the restaurant since I don't like soda, I just don't like them to put some lemon on my water...

I did go through a stage where I was trying to drink the reccommended eight glasses of water a day, then in the paper they said that studies don't believe it is necessary, so I breathed a big sigh of relief and stopped drinking so much water. I still drink some water, but not to the stage I'm going to the loo five times more than usual, LOL! I don't go to restaurants often enough to tell you if I drink the water there though.

Hi There,
There is no doubt that water is good for you. It will cleanse the entire system and keeps you hydrated and feeling well. The taste is pretty much nothing for the most part although some tap water can be pretty bad tasting. I always drink about 8 to 10 glasses a day. I usually run everyday so I find I really need it.
cheers,

Yes, I do drink a lot of water. I love water. But in most of our restaurants around here they don't just automatically bring water anymore. You have to ask for it. And then they bring it with a lemon slice on the glass. I don't like lemon in my water, or my tea. And I always forget to tell them. So I just usually wait until I get home. I love my water with lots of ice in it. In fact I have started just eating ice chips a lot. I guess any way we can get our water in our diet is good though.

I hold my hands up, I don't drink nearly as much water as I should. Not on it's own, anyway. Occasionally, I will drink cordial and I do drink a lot of tea, but the majority of the time I stick to fizzy pop. The same goes for at restaurants as well. Although unless somebody specifically orders it, it's rarely provided. The way I see it is: if I'm going to pay for something, I'd rather pay for a nicer drink that I don't have so often as opposed to something I can get out of the tap. I find, unless water is ice cold, it's quite unrefreshing which is why I don't drink it very often.
During high school, I drank a lot of flavoured water as that was the only thing we were allowed to drink - the same for examinations as well. It's not that I find the taste particularly bad, I find it has none at all. I tend to only drink it plain when I am at work on my break, when I don't have time.
I'm not one of these people who will only drink it bottled though. When I do drink it, I'm impartial.

Thank you so much for best response!
I'm not sure what the law states regarding water in restaurants. Of course they would have to provide it if it was asked for, that much is obvious, but I'm not sure whether it is free. Sometimes when I go out for drinks with my family, my brother isn't charged for his cordial. I know that schools have to provide water where a dinner scheme is in place, and I think they have to provide milk as well. However, the schools in my area at least aren't allowed to sell fizzy drinks or anything too sugary as they have to comply with healthy eating regulations.
Some schools even take it to the extreme and don't allow children to bring their own drinks if they are deemed unhealthy.

i drink water all through the day at home. i feel its safer to drink it at home. some don't mind it. i do. i do it for health reasons. i have been told its good for your kidneys. it keeps your kidneys healthy. i have notice when i drink water everyday. my skin looks healthy and clear. if u don't drink everyday. it can ruin your kidneys, and u can end up using the dialysis machine for the rest of your life.
when i go i dont drink the water out in restuarant. i will usually get soda or juice. i find the water taste strange.

well the kidney dialysis machine is a bit extreme, you wouldn't get that kind of kidney disease just from not drinking water,
but you may get kidney stones.

I dont drink alot of water, I dont drink much at all but do try and eat food that is juicy like fresh fruit and tinned fruit as I love the taste of fruit juice.
I sometimes drink water in restauants, depending on the restaurant and what I am eating depends on what i choose to drink!!

Up until 2 years ago, I hated the taste of water too.
So I know how you feel. But I knew how important it was that I learn to like it, so I found a bottled water that I thought tasted better than the others (I liked Aquafina. Other people like other brands.)
I bought a bottle of that, and also a bottle of my favorite soda. I would drink as much water as I could stand, (which was just a little bit) and then drink some soda to wash the water taste away! Lol
I kept doing this, and eventually I was able to drink the whole bottle of water. Eventually after that I didn't even need the soda afterward. Now I acutally like the taste of water...not only Aquafina, I put a filter on my kitchen faucet and I drink water from there now.
Amazing! Now I'm working on trying to like fruits and veggies! Lol.

Hey mom !
I love water, be it tap water or bottled, whatever, I can drink it all day long. When I'm sitting at home I can go thru about three or four 2L bottles of water in the span of a few hours. Whenever I leave the house regardless of where I'm going I bring a bottle of water with me in my bag. At restaurants, I drink the water they give, and usually don't get something else.
Water is a great way of cleaning out the body of all the bad toxins, and I find that now that I drink more water, I get less migraines, and I lose weight alot faster too.

I usually drink a couple of glasses of water a day. I figure it is better healthwise than a lot of other stuff, plus it is free. It is much better with some lemon in it. I just bought a Britta pitcher as the house filter isn't working too well. It was a good deal as the pitcher ended up being $5 and still came with the filter. It is a much better deal than the bottled water I was using, and I don't have to feel guilty about all the plastic either.
