I was a night owl until I had kids. My body still prefers being more active in the evening and at night but these days I get up early in order to have time to myself while everybody else is asleep. I've noticed that I can't stay up too late any more after getting up at 5:30 am, not for more than two days in a row!

i work as a call center agent for a US account so i basically work at night. actually, even back in college, i always spend my time at night. i go to class during the day but i always sleep in my pad during my free time. after my last class for the day, i'll sleep until i wake up at around 9pm.

I like evenings or nights more than mornings. The muse works better (at least mine) when it's dark outside.

It isn't usually difficult for me to get up in the morning (unless I am having one of those phases where my sleep pattern is skewed), however, I am most definitely an evening person. It is when I feel most active, energetic, and alert in my body and mind and when everything most easily comes together. My deepest thoughts tend to occur in the evening or at night. The morning never brought much excitement for me... plus, I am always extremely cold (regardless of the temperature of the room) in the mornings for some reason.

I'm an evening person. I'm quite active in the afternoon and love to stay up late. I've always said I should get a night job because I could probably stay up all night every night and sleep during the day.

While it's not hard for me to get up in the morning, I am not really extremely active until 10 or 11 o'clock. I can stay up late if I want, but lately I have gotten myself into a nice routine of spending the day at the coffee shop, on the computer, and going to bed around 11:00, getting up around 9 every morning. Not haing the internt at home anymore has really helped me quit saying up all night. LOL

There are days when I love getting up early because then I feel like the day doesn't "get away from me" so to speak. Then there are times (like now) where I can stay up really REALLY late (it's almost 3am right now) and I won't have a problem with it...BUT I will have to sleep late in the mornings.
Overall though if I had to choose for example, I'd like to be more active at night. I usually like my sleep in the mornings.
I think that I like to be more active at night because I feel that I haven't been as productive as I should have during the day and therefore if I don't sleep, the "day" is still not over with. Crazy, probably I know. :)
Good question ryozen!:)
