Myspace or Facebook?

I've had a Myspace for almost three years now, and just a few months ago got a Facebook.
Since then I have all but abandoned myspace. I saw how it is so full of advertisements and ran slowly.
I prefer Facebook for a number of other reasons, that I don't really want to get into right now due to my lack of energy.
My question to you is, which do you prefer if you have both? Why?

Hi Riddletom
Welcome to Mylot enjoy your time here
I don't like either of those sites. I also tend to stick to socializing sites that actually pay me

Hey thanks, I know what you're saying with the paying for being social :P.
Though I doubt my friends have PayPal accounts, so they wouldn't bother with this.

I have both and I am like you, I have myspace and when I got facebook I totally abandoned myspace. Facebook is a phenomenon right now. I was able to locate friends in facebook that I have not seen in years. There are a lot of things you can do and applications that you can use. And I think these features are really cute, teasing and fun! Bottom line is it has to be something that you enjoy.

I use both MySpace and Facebook. I have both because I have some friends that won't use MySpace and other friends that won't use Facebook. I like to stay in contact with all of them so I use both. :-)
I agree that now that MySpace has added applications, it seems like they are trying to be like Facebook. I liked MySpace just the way it was. I guess change is inevitable.
Anyhow, I do use both regularly and I can't say I think much of it other than just a way to keep in contact.

I prefer facebook because I have never had any junk mail or fake friend requests or virus worries. I feel free to post my babies pictures without worry and don't have any stalkers.
Myspace I always get tons of people friend requesting me that don't even know me. And then there's the people posting comments and bulletins about free stuff and contests and making money schemes.
I also like facebook better because I don't have to worry about codes and backgrounds and outside programs. Everything is right there and it doesn't take a million years to download someone's page that has a bunch of crap on it.
