Sandwiches are the quickest to make for breakfast or dinner. Just make sure you use a variety of bread so as not to have bread fatigue. Also, keep a bottle of mayo, cheese spread or cheese block, a bunch of greens, tomatoes, cucumber and onion slices ready for use in the fridge. Spread mayo on bread, add veggies, top with slices of ham or bacon or sliced leftover chicken or turkey or whatever cooked meat, fried egg maybe and voila! breakfast is ready. For more filling dinners, try 2 or more noodle and pasta recipes and cook for 4 servings per recipe. Freeze the rest for later use in portions so you dont reheat the whole batch and come up with soggy meals. This way, you can alternate the kind of dinners you will be having. These are real cheap by the way so you should be able to save in no time.

Cook yourself for some simple food. One one hand you can save money. One the other hand you can eat healthy and learn something. So why not have a try. Usually clean and beautiful meals in big restaurant are always expensive. While the cheap food in the small outside booth are usually unhealthy and dirty.

With this economy its a joke to see anything cheap. However I think alot of people cook meals that can last for a couple servings. Something like a good spaghetti for dinner a couple of nights. There are also alot of things you can do with noodles if you get creative.

Oh, lets see. Just about anything with pasta. You can freeze the leftovers and have them another time. The other night I was in a hurry so I threw together a package of Lipton's Sides Alfredo and a can of chicken meat. It was actually pretty good, too. Throw in some frozen veggies if you like. A lot of time I will buy the makings for something rather than prepared food because it is cheaper. I can take my daughter's favorites and freeze them so she can microwave them later for lunches.
