Many of my friends experience this virus on cellphone, and their blaming its bluetooth as the gate way, some even say their cellphone is hacked. Is there a proof? do experience the same problem?

Note that virus can be written to run itself and activate the bluetooth function in your phone. In transmitting itself to other bluetooth devices, it can be written to bypass all the security code and password that usually required before accepting the transmission, this way, your phone can be infected eventhough you didn't on your bluetooth function.

It's true that you can get virus by just opening your bluetooth. I myself has experienced this, my phone got affected by a virus when I opened my bluetooth to send a picture to my niece's cellphone. After I sent it, my phone just blinked and blinked, and I can't use it anymore. So I brought it to the cellphone shop and you know what? It took them 1 month to repair it. My cell is N95 and only few stores has software of it. When I got my cellphone back, they told me that as much as possible, don't open my bluetooth.
