Do you use the GPS or a map?

I still use a map. I suppose a GPS would be easier, but I just haven't been bothered to get one. If I am going somewhere unfamiliar I have my trusty map nearby and I usually go onto MapQuest and print out the directions. How about you? Do you prefer GPS or a map? If, you have GPS when was the last time you used a map. If you don't have GPS are you planning on getting one?

My husband is a truck driver. He uses a gps everyday. I went out in the truck with him and everytime I told him to go right he would go left. lol It caused a arguement because you can not just turn a semi around any where. So we got a gps and he loves it. It talks to him and tells him were to take his loads. It was a good investment for us. I dont know how good an investment it would be for the average person that does not travel much. They cost alot. cheap end $200 and up

Yes, that would be a great help to a trucker. I know they aren't cheap, that is why I won't get one. I don't need a piece of technology that is worth more than my car....lol.
