I am from India and the inflation rate here is sky high. Ever since the increase in fuel prices it is heading even higher. It has effected a lot of people but still the government has made some efforts to reduce the impact on general people by cutting the taxes. Let's see how it effects prices of other commodities.

It's definitely burdening people in Malaysia eventhough the government has announced the fuel subsidy. Since fuel is the main factor to move from one place to another place, then increase in every items that are sell in every single shop outlet will increase. Noted that when the major factor that makes us mobile started to become our problem, then we are no more mobile or less mobile, then these will affect our daily activities in generating income to feed our mouth, our baby's mouth and our wife mouth. But, what can we do. Just face it, and if you find one day you cannot stand this condition anymore, then you should think back to live as the first human on earth living or at least at the time before human found petroleum. Or, if you are a positive person, search, think and give effort to overcome this situation by searching other alternatives to replace petroleum like biodiesel technology or at least become a farmer to plant Jatropha Curcas to produce oil.

Oh yeah , it is certainly effecting everybody. Oil prices are going up. Even the airlines are effected , increasing airfairs, reducing number of flights. So, that effects globally.

The increase has affected me alot because i am not able to do things with out traveling since i live in a small town. Any more these days to do anything cost an arm and a leg. what happen to the honest business men i think they are just lost and have no concern about the poor people in this country or anyother country. It is not fair because most of us are working out tails off and not getting anywhere because everything keeps going up.

yes your right increasing oil rates have made me gone mad,it has also effected the price of airways and other things.

Yes, I know try to run all my errands o one day to save gave gas. I used to think nothing of driving into the city or going for a long drive, but I can't afford it now. Each trip to the city costs me $10 now. I'm even looking to buy a motorcycle to keep my gas costs down. The mileage is just so much better. I know we will continue to see the cost of goods rise because of the gas so it's only going to get worse.

oh i wish i had got the oil stocks before. now it is so high that i dunno, its affecting everything in the world. this is first time i m seeing like shortage everywhere rice and food and what not. it is affecting the airlines and well dunno how it wud affect me in a big way as i dont drive. but ofcourse they can always increase the bus and train fares. but this hike shud just stop. every where ppl r striking but i dunno who is gonna hear to all tht
