hi guys...
i have one simple and easy way to bypass winxp
step1:open your command prompt
step2:type net user,you are going to get he list of user in that pc
step3:choose the user name to which you want to hack in and type net user 'user name' * and the prompt returns asking the new password for you..
step4:type new password...and thats it the users password will be changed...

U can do this even from the guest account....but the thing is the guest account should be on...but this wont work in all cases...but for some extent ...it is possible...he i can give u one more idia use erd winternals bootable cd...
using this boot the windows ...u will be taken to the another windows and there u can change ur password...there u have to go to the start and select manage accounts and change the password ..it doesnot ask for the old password..
i have tried this and it worked for me ...and it even works for vista

You obviously are running winsp pro and almost as obviously I would say that at some point you must have locked yourself out of your system because you could not remember the password or at the tie that you created it you did not tyoe it in properly. Probably you just had your caps lock key down or something and theat's why it did not recognize the password. Either way to protect against this vulnerability the user should give the users either admin status or rename your guest account so that hackers can't get into it.
