What do you think will help me upgrade my career?

I was thinking a long time before, if what would be best for me to do, to upgrade my career, get better pay, or in other words be successful. Im not sure if I just need to go to Graduate School, take a MAsters in Psychology or my other option is to get another Degree like shifting into another career?
