well i have learned lots of things actually but this was quite interesting. i was watching some documentary on mummies recently on mummy forensics and decided to do an article on the oldest mummies.
i've always been thinking that mummies were started by egyptians and all what with the pyramids and all. but when i went to search, i found out that that was not the case. in fact, long before the egyptians, in fact, roughly 3000 years before the egyptians started experimenting on mummification, another group of people had already been doing it. it was quite an interesting find.
i did do a simple article on helium but it has yet to be accepted. if it does not get accepted, then i'll be putting it on hubpages. hehe

It helped a lot. As a part of our academic project. We need a lot of data. Our project was combustion modelling of petrol and lpg. After our search with different word, we could find our almost all data. With figures. Also for quick refrence we can use it

Gosh, Zergonipal. I have learned many facts and interesting tidbits from surfing the internet. In particular, when I research medical issues at sites like Dr. Koop's, WebMD, or Mayo Clinic, I gain alot of helpful info.
Of course, reading news items at sites sponsored by ABC news and Good Morning America can really provide alot of knowledge. I also very much enjoy the Court TV website as they always having some interesting info about court cases that are going on.
Recently, I learned how to make a money tree as a gift for someone, by seeking and finding the info on the internet. The internet is truly a wealth of information.

I have learned so much from the internet during the time I have used it. I have been using internet for about 8 years now and it is really a very quick source to the information.
Internet is very useful especially if you are trying to explore something. For example,if you are interested in electronics, you can find many useful information on specific sites and this is the same for all subjects as you already might know.
Internet is also the ultimate source for my homeworks and other studies. Especially if you are writing some academic paper, internet will be very helpful to you. Our professors say that they used to search for information in the libraries and had to spent many hours for something which is not warrantied to be in any book. However, now we have the ability to use the internet and it takes just a few seconds to search a dozen of libraries!

A LOT. but to sight an example is when my wife is pregnant the internet helped me a lot to cope with her mood swings her apetite and made me ready for the big day. i was all ready and never forgot a thing when that day came. it also taught me to be prepared on how to be a dad and to expect the unexpected. there are a lot more things i learned from the internet but i think getting me prepared for being a dad is the best thing i learn from the net

I believe you certainly can learn a lot from the Internet. To me it is a fountain of knowledge. You question is too broad ,for me, to respond to as I have educated myself on a multitude of subjects.

I learn useful things most every day from the internet. it would be impossible to tell you about it all and how it happened. But I'll give you an example.
I'd been ill for some time and noone seemed to know what was wrong. So i searched the net, found out myself, got a diagnosis, found other people like me online, and have made several new friends due to this.

Yes when I was making my website, I didn't have any knowledge in programming or things like that. So I just learned online and investigate myself, now I know slightly how to change the backgrounds and stuff and I am really proud of myself.

Hi There,
I have learned a huge amount of things from the Internet. I find it is the place I go to find out information on virtually anything. The things I have learned are too many to list but they fall into almost every category. From information sites, discussion groups and so on, the information is endless. Of course you always have to filter it to make sure the information you are getting is reliable.
cheers,

I have learned to harness the power and reach of the internet to my advantage. It has allowed me to connect to anyone who has a presence in cyberspace and engage with them in useful ways such as exchanging views with you and others on social networks like myLot and transacting with my bank through internet banking, things I would otherwise not have been able to do if the internet didn't come into being. I have exposure to so much wealth of information on practically any subject by just looking for such information on cyberspace. The world is so much closer to me when such information is readily available at my doorstep. I've also learned to communicate easier, cheaper and faster with others through instant messaging means. I 'talk' to relatives and friends as often as I wish without bordering about costs. Previously it was only through occasional exchange of letters and expensive long distance telephone calls. There is so much more I can go on to share useful things I have harnessed from being on the internet, but the above ones have proven to be the more useful ones.

Yes. We could learn a lot and lot. As I have the habit of looking for some details and information on various topics I get more and authentic knowledge. I do not go to any other librery or person for consultation. I get everything in the internet. Thus my time and money are saved.

I learned how to create my first webpage on the internet. I also learned about all my favorite football club, football players, singers and etc from the internet.
Internet is a good place to learn things. However, we must be able to differentiate the facts from fictions.

hi,
Where you posted this topic is the place to learn something new and earning as well, I think so. It is the place I learn something new about problems of people in their daily lives in different fields. If I get the similar, helps me to solve it. Besides, without articles it becomes really difficult to handle programs what I'm doing. Videos and strategies learn me how to improve my gaming skills what I'm playing everyday.
And without it I'm lame.

LOOOOOTTTTTS OF THINGS!! But, we must be careful, too much knowledge is dangerous specially if the knowledge one accumulated already impairs his judgment.
