My dear friends I am from India .Since last one week our country is facing lots of problem due to increase of fuel price by the Govt. Every nook and corner people is showing their anguish and agitation against such price rise. Do you think such rise can be controlled by the govt if so then how. Do you think it is beyond the control of Govt agency ? Why in other countries fuel price is less than India. What do you suggest to arrest such increase. Pl. explain

I think it's not only your country here in the Philippines as well. I think the best way to deal with it is to lessen the use of fuel. Let us not be dependent on the use of fossil fuel. Maybe we should start walking when going to places that are near to us Or use a bicycle instead. Solar power is another alternative. I'm sure the government can't do anything about it as they are dealing with giants here.
We should all do our little share not to be dependent on fossil fuel.

Hi pkc3000,
I disagree with your sentence about "why in other countries fuel price is less than India". The reason for disagreement is that oil is being used by the people living in this globe here and who doesn't need oil to operate machines and vehicles? Since the increase in oil prices, I don't believe there is one country that will decrease their fuel prices. I don't think the govt is capable of controlling the oil prices, so who is controlling this increment in oil prices which I have no idea either. From articles of newspaper, it is believe that import and export of oil done by oil merchants have a great impact on the prices, so do you think they are the mastermind behind the increment? In addition, after President Bush of United States declared war on Afghanistan and the middle east, the oil prices soars immediately. There are no ways for a commoner like me and you to arrest such increase unless you are one of more powerful person in your country which has the power to say something about the oil price hike such that I have nothing left to say. A commoner like me have no say in the oil prices and I can only hope that the govt and private transport companies do not implement increment in their fares.
