I always love to have live plants around the house, but would always kill them off after a while. I've been very proud of myself lately though! I've found the perfect place for each plant to thrive, and I rarely forget to water them. I'm also limiting myself though. I have four right now. How is your green thumb?

to keep them green you have to give regular water, and also have to give nutrients, you have to keep in mind that the drainage system should be good and there should not be water lodgeing.plants should be kept in sun to prepare their food

Most of my plants are doing fine. I only have a problem with one of my Dragon tree plants. It has developed a lot of brown spotty patches on some of the leaves. I have looked in many plant books and participated in online forums but have yet to find an answer to the problem. I have another dragon tree that is absolutely thriving and it is strange because I have treated both plants exactly the same and they grow in the same position. My Umbrella tree plant has doubled in size since I bought it two years ago. It won't be long before it hits the ceiling!

Good job! I have a lot of house plants. Now that you have them where you need them. As they grow, you can take clippings from your thriving plants to get more. I find that some do well and some don't so I have about 4 types and just keep pulling cuttings off of them. Now I have about 12 plants around the house.
