For me, around 20 up. It's better to have child early so that when they grow up, I am not yet that old...LOL, but, I am 30+ but no baby yet.ANyway, I have few aunt who have their first child at the age of 35 and It was healthy still but not an assurance though!

I think whenever a woman is ready is definitely the best time!
I think health wise it's better to be late teens - early 20's but for me, i wasn't mentally ready until my mid 20's or there abouts.
I had my first daughter about 2 months before i turned 25 & being pregnant again, i will be having this 2nd one less than a month before i turn 27 - it might be a little later than some women prefer but for me i wanted to be sure i could handle all the stresses both mentally & physically.
My partner & i also wanted to make sure we were a little more secure financially - i didn't want to have money problems to worry about as well as other things.
I think every woman will just have kids when they feel ready for them unless there's an accidental pregnancy but with that, there are always other options if you don't feel ready to take on the responsibility of motherhood.

I think it is a good time for a woman to have a baby when she is settled down with her life partner and they are financially able to take care of their child. I had my child when I was 20 years old. I was a single mom. I didn't plan for it. It just happened and I decided to raise her on my own until I met someone and then got married. It is very hard to raise a child by yourself. I think you need to plan to have them fairly early in life though because you will want to be able to raise them and enjoy your grandchildren.

I got pregnant just as easily at 38 as i did at 25! I'm sure its an individual thing, despite the science behind your statement.

I think the best time to have a baby (ideally in life) is when you and your spouse are committed to caring for a child and loving that child unconditionally. Now we know things don't always work out this way and I'm in no way condemning those who have not taken this route. I, from experience, am exhausted everyday from caring for my three children ages 4 & under and I'm 25! I cannot imagine doing this 10 years later - although most of our friends are in their 30's and having children. And I even have friends who are having their first kids in their 40's. So whenever God sees fit to bless you with new life is when it's the right time!

i don't know that there is a "best" age to have babies. i guess if you are going to have it without any medical help then the best age would be in your 20's. but there are plenty of women who have had them in their 30's and 40's without help. with medical help you could have them in your 40's or maybe even 50s. it was just in the news a mother gave birth and i think she was 65.
