Was it the Great Wall of China?

I never thought would come the day where I would have to resort to MyLot to resolve a debate between my friends and I but apparently, today is that day. For the past hour, I have been in a General Studies class and were discussing unusual stories. How we got onto the topic of China, I'm not sure - it had something to do with the Berlin Wall and the U.S.S.R. I mentioned a wall in which ten thousand soldiers were buried, along with the King of a country. Although I'm sure it was an oriental country, I don't know if it was China.
My friends all laughed at me and told me that I was making it up. They couldn't find anything on Google about it and I couldn't recall enough information about it for it to seem feasible. I have since asked my father and two other friends of mine if they know what I was talking about, and they say they have heard of it - one mentioned Mongolia, but we have deduced that the men died during a war. Has anybody else know what we're talking about? I am sure that having a large network of MyLot users from different countries, somebody must have at least heard of it.
I would really appreciate your input. To begin with, they had convinced me that it was something I had imagined and all laughed at me. I am determined to reach a conclusion so that I can rub it in their faces and make them realise that they were wrong and I am indeed right, and not mentally ill or warped.
