How do you achieve it

I have struggled with anxiety and depression for as long as I can remember. When I am happy around other people I am usually putting up a front. When I am in a crowd of people I still feel alone. I am curious how others have found inner peace and happiness with themselves?

There are excellent medications out there for both depression and anxiety now. Go to your Doctor and explain your symptoms in full to him or her. Let them know how long this has been happening to you.
Share your experiences with someone close to you, a loved one or a friend who will listen without judgment. It is important for those of us who suffer from any type of depression or anxiety to create a support network of people who will be there if we need them.
Find a creative outlet or a support group. I find my writing to be therapeutic, and have created several different blogs for different times in my life. This way, no matter the situation I am dealing with or was in an hour ago, I have a place to vent about it, kind of like a diary.
There are many ways to handle this situation, but the start to handling it is to visit your Doctor. It is not a weakness but a common condition that many experience. You have already recognized your needs, now it is time to take care of them.
