Do you believe that the power of the mind is stronger than any illness you may get? Is it possible that we control a large percentage of what happens to us with our mind? I believe we are affected by external forces and chemicals, but I also believe we have impact on the outcome. First of all, sometimes our brain tells us something is wrong. If we dwell on that, it is negative energy and only we can change that. It is the hardest tool to control in a person's life. I would like to stay positive all of the time, but there's a fine line in positive and manic. Where do we find balance? Who else struggles with the knowledge that they are personally responsible for most of their health, wellness, and wealth issues? Are we punishing ourselves or can we be retrained?

our mind has a great power. I think we can defeat many illness with mind power. The positive energy with in have a healing power. Common man can not always be positive. The things happening around us and the struggle for life will not allow us to be positive always. It is natural. But we should try to be positive as many times as we can. We should voluntarily remove all the negative thoughts and worries from our mind and try to be happy always.

Yes, I always see this poster whenever i go to the terminal it says "what your mind can see, your body will achieve" a statement that declares the power of our mind in our lives

I totally believe that we can control a lot of what goes on with our health. The power of the mind can be exemplified by the story of a mother who actually lifted a car off of her child after it had run the child over. That example was pure instinct, but it was her will controlling her strength.
I'm sure most of us have heard stories similar to that one. But some illnesses are very severe, like cancer, and need a boost from medical science, at least in my opinion. I believe cancer can be cured with a variety of input all working together, including a positive attitude; not "I think it will get better", but more like "I KNOW it's getting better".
Positive energy around us really plays an important part in our health, both mental and physical, but positive energy FROM us is the most important factor.
Having a positive attitude can make good things happen in every aspect of our lives, not just health. I am a firm believer in the power of a positive mind.
I've never had a problem with "manic" thinking. I just keep the picture of how I want things to be in the back of my mind, always, and things tend to migrate in that direction and stay there, without going overboard.
Every mind can be retrained. It's just a matter of knowing how; reading the right books, finding the right instructor, etc. For me, I simply watch nature. I watch the animals and plants. How do they handle adverse situations? They do it instinctively. When they don't feel well, animals will rest, plants will stop growing temporarily. We can learn much from nature.

I also believe we learn from nature. Animals never second guess instinct. Only people do.
