My favorite Hitchcock film is a toss up between Notorious and Shadow of a Doubt. I really think Shadow of a Doubt was his best one overall, but Notorious has one of Cary Grant's best performances, plus it had Ingrid Bergman and Claude Rains.

Out of all the Hitchcock movies for suspense I really enjoyed the Birds - to this Day I can't see a large flock together and not think about that movie. But also really enjoyed his one and only comic murder mystery "The trouble with Harry", if you haven't seen it I recommended it :)

It has to be Psycho and then The Rope, two of the strangest most feasible movies I have ever seen.

I liked birds but the most famous I think is Psycho, they both are favorites.

My personal favorite is Frenzy, one of his very last films. It has all of the familiar elements of a Hitchcock film (the "wrong man" plot, the black humor, etc.). One thing I really liked about the film is that Hitchcock relied on a cast of unknown British actors rather than some familiar movie stars.
