How was it when you cooked for the first time?

What was the response you got from your friends and relatives when you prepared your cuisine for the first time? Obviously they keep names and sa ybetter luck next time was the response i got. LOL!

when i cooked the 1st time half of the chapati was burnt then also i ate it and i liked to eat that burnt chapati because i had prepared it.

I honestly can't remember when I cooked the first time, nor do I remember specific reactions. I tried cooking a lot as a kid. I can say that my cooking is *extremely* hit-or-miss these days. :)
