not able to copy DVD

i have a dvd of a movie and i am not able to copy it into my harddisk i tried writing with nero it says that the dvd is write protected.. and the movie is not playing in nero or vlc.. it is only playing in wmp... is there any way to copy the dvd??

It's copy protected. They don't want you to copy it because you would be breaking the law.

try copying it to brief case or make the image of that dvd and keep it in ur hard disk..
