Atypical antipsychotics off label uses

I have heard about the use of Abilify for depression. I have used it in conjunction with Seroquel to see if I can stave off the weight gain caused by the Seroquel. Abilify seems to add to the energy level for a few weeks then peters out. I've also read that Seroquel has been approved for the depressive phase of bipolar disorder. Any thoughts?
