Is God taking his chosen ones now...before the end of time?

With many loved ones leaving our realm, and now Tim Russert at the young age of 58, do you think that God might be taking the chosen ones first so that they don't have to face the rapture?

I don't know. I think some people, not just Christians, are becoming overly paranoied. There have been a lot o end-of-the-world predictions, and nothing has come o them.

I think that you are right! There is so much worry about the end of the world. I have lost many young family members in the last 4 years, and just hope that they have been taken because the rapture is near. Makes me wonder though...about the rest of us! Especially the children.

This is not something new. Jesus said this would happenm the appearance of many false messiahs.

I think that God knows us before or earthly existance and he has a plan for each of us and our date of reward is written and we aren't meant to know how he figures it out..or we would know! I know we have to just have faith! xoxoxoxoxxo

I do believe that he has a plan for each of us...and I am sorta glad that I don't know when "my time" would be. It would probably make me crazy...if I am not already! Thanks doll!

I have pondered this question in my mind also, but am not sure what I think about it. I have lost a lot of family and friends in the past 3 years also. I lost my mother, an uncle and 2 aunts. My next door neighbor, another next door neighbors father,2 of my sister-in-laws sisters and I'm sure I am forgetting someone, but it seems to be non-stop. I do feel as though the end times are here, and we will be seeing many more disasters and economic problems happening.

It seems as though a lot of good people are leaving us in record number, and there is so much "bad" on earth now...it just makes one wonder.

I highly doubt it. Although I believe that God does everything for a purpose, I don't think He's sparing a select few from the Rapture. That would go against the fact that nobody knows when the Rapture will happen, and if people start dropping off, that would clue people in that it may happen soon. Plus, that wouldn't be fair, and God is just and fair, always.

It is hard to say what God's plan is for each of us. We must have faith that he always does what is right.
